Little Feet

I've got this pipe dream. So far I'm gliding down the pipe and just enjoying the ride. So here is another story from my flight down.

Little feet ran across the floor behind her. Smiling to herself she shook her head. There was something going on this morning. The kids usually weren't up this early. Her husband left a half hour before had made sure to wake the kids for her. It was suspicious.
Giggles now came from the next room. “Mamma!” the duel voices of her children called out. The footsteps now echoing up right behind her.

“Yes my loves?” she said tuning to face them her face turning red as she saw both of them standing there with a half dozen roses in hand.

Random Drabble

So this drabble is going to be completely random.
Usually, I write my drabbles word document and then post them here after I've checked it. When talking with one of my partners tonight I told her to give me a writing prompt to do something about this is what she gave me: "Going to the circus."
So this is going to be a little bit different but here we go:

It was a clash of noise. The people jeering and booing from the outside clashed with the sounds of those laughing inside the gates. The sun set from behind the large area of tents backlit by the big top in the exact center.
“Guess not everyone is a fan around here?” Chad scoffed glancing off to the side at the protesters. The woman beside him let out a slight laugh.
Shifting the small child in her arms causing her to stir and cry. “Looks like they are about to get some help.” She mused laughing once more.

I Don't Know Her

I wrote this on a whim one night while talking to someone very dear to me. I remember one night I was talking to her and I said something about how I could easily fall in love with her and she laughed and looked at me and told me I already was. I didn't know what to say. She had me dead to rights I just didn't wana admit it.

I don't know her, not yet. I could tell you some of the things she liked. I could tell you some of the stories I've heard from her.
I don't know her, not yet. But recently she gave me a chance, she let down a part of the wall. She allowed an outsider in and the light that is her is as burns as bright as her red hair.

I don't know her, not yet. I've promised her to give her my all to learn and in the process some how, fell in love with the mystery that was her.
