“One, two, three, four, five, six…” A little girl skipped along the edge of a roof counting out loud in a sing song voice. it was about noon with the sun pounding down on her filthy dress. “Eight, nine, ten eleven, twelve..”
Off in the distance she could hear cries of terror and pain. She stopped counting and walked to the side of the roof picking up a rifle. She aimed it over the edge toward the scream leveling a head in the sights. She placed her finger on the trigger.
“May god have mercy on your soul.” She squeezed.
